One common favorite in the Pacific Northwest community: combining Durban Poison (a bright, energetic sativa with a sweet anise-like profile) with a small amount of a mellow indica like Granddaddy Purple. The result, according to multiple longtime consumers, is a social, creative high with just enough body warmth to take the edge off the raciness that Durban can sometimes bring. Neither strain alone hits that particular sweet spot.

Another popular combo among creatives in the LA area: blending Girl Scout Cookies with a CBD-rich strain like ACDC or Ringo's Gift. The idea is to keep the euphoric, slightly psychedelic quality of GSC intact while dialing back the anxiety ceiling — letting the creative headspace breathe without the occasional paranoia spike.
